Louise Knight

Louise discovered bodybuilding at the age of 18, as rehab and reconditioning after a knee injury. Easily swayed by popular consensus that women “bulk up” with weights, she drifted back into pure cardio training and running until 10 years later when a thyroid health issue struck. Heavy weight training and HIIT became an imperative part of her fitness routine for weight control and energy. Now, no stranger to the free weights area of the gym she is hooked for life, lives for leg day and is continually humbled by the kindness and generosity of the strength training community; always ready to spot that last rep and give much needed encouragement and advice. Louise is on a mission to give men the same options for stylish fitness apparel as women and hopes that traditional fitness gender lines will continue to disappear as more women are encouraged to lift heavy and men are enticed by yoga.
