Liven up January by adding flavour and warmth to the post Christmas lull with some spice. For those who did more cheating than clean eating over Christmas, adding spices to meals makes getting back on track with clean eating a bit more interesting and they are also great for fending off colds and flu.

We’re turning to Nigel Slater again for inspiration. Here he cooks up a delicious veggie curry. Carnivores can add some grilled chicken but the yoghurt in the recipe will add protein so it’s great for vegetarians or meat free Monday. Nigel Slater uses natural yoghurt and crème fraîche but I’d suggest using unsweetened greek yoghurt instead.
