Brand Feature

We were intrigued when we discovered SEAGALE. The brand was born out of a frustration with conventional swimming shorts so the team set about building a new design with an inbuilt boxer assembled on the waistband for ultimate comfort and style for active living on the Côte d’Azur. Soon after, they turned their attention to running shorts and a sleek silhouette akin to the Tracksmith Longfellow short was created with a sophisticated French flair for understated style.

With Wimbledon on this week, I can’t help drawing comparisons to René Lacoste, the original pioneer of exalted athletic apparel, France is leading the way with differentiated style, once again (Café du Cycliste is another fantastic example). What really attracted me to SEAGALE, was a philosophy that we share. I’m a firm believer that wearing clothing that looks and feels great enhances performance and SEAGALE’s story resonates.

The maxim – a picture speaks a thousand words – is never truer with the stunning imagery that illustrates the heart and origin of this brand.

The SEAGALE team will be in Paris in July and August, showcasing their apparel at a pop up store:
65 rue de Turenne
