Dan, my boyfriend, overheats. He’s a human radiator. So for cycling or running in cooler weather he wants a gilet to keep his core warm with maximum ventilation for his arms. So I’ve gone on the hunt for gilets with Dan in mind and I’ve collated the best I can find. However, I must say it’s been a tall order trying to find stylish activewear gilets, there are plenty of highly functional options out there that sadly ignore style detailing altogether.

In the final post in this series on jackets, I’m guilty of Rapha favouritism again, featuring two of their pieces but they really do fit the brief. The Outlier gilet (at the time of writing this) is currently out of stock but I like it so much, I decided to include it anyway in the hope that they restock.
